This policy explains what personal data Made AI Ready collects when you use this website and its services, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Our services are for businesses, but if you are a sole trader or give us information about individuals (such as yourself or your staff), that information is personal data. Please read this alongside our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

We send follow-up emails about AI search readiness only if you tick the optional box asking for them — when you unlock your free report, or at checkout. The box is never pre-ticked, and getting your free report or completing a purchase never depends on ticking it. Buying from us does not, on its own, sign you up to marketing emails. We keep a record of the wording you agreed to, when, and where. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, or you can reply or email myreport@madeaiready.com. Unsubscribing does not stop essential emails about an order.
We use the following third parties to run the service. We share only what each needs for its function.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data where the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as an accountant.
We use Anthropic's Claude AI models to write the analysis and recommendations in our reports, the citation suggestions and the content of website builds. The AI works from the automated findings of our scan, content taken from your website and the details you give us. Your email address is never sent to it.
Reports and website builds are generated automatically. A person does not check each one before it is sent, so they can contain errors (see Terms & Conditions §4). We do not use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects: it produces content for you to review, and it does not decide whether you can buy from us or what you pay.
Our application and database are hosted by Hetzner in Finland (EU/EEA). Some of our other providers — Stripe, Anthropic and Google — may process data outside the UK and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the international transfer safeguards set out in that provider's own data processing terms. You can ask us for details of the safeguard that applies to a particular provider.
Essential functionality on this site — running a scan, unlocking your free report, checkout, and report delivery — does not require cookies and works identically whichever choice you make below.
Before any analytics cookie is set, you are shown a banner with an equally-weighted Accept and Reject choice. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 loads and sets the cookies below. If you reject, none of them are set. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.

If you accept and later change your mind, choosing "Reject" under "Cookie settings" deletes the analytics cookies and attribution storage above immediately and reloads the page to make sure analytics stops running. Your choice is remembered for 6 months, after which you'll be asked again; you'll also be asked again sooner if this cookie policy changes materially.
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to processing, and you can withdraw consent where processing relies on it, including for marketing emails. Where we process data you gave us on the basis of your consent or a contract with you, and the processing is automated, you can also ask to receive that data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or ask us to send it to another organisation (data portability). To exercise any of these, email myreport@madeaiready.com. We normally reply within one month. If you are outside the UK, you may have additional rights under your local law.
If you are unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF. Telephone: 0303 123 1113. You can complain online at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No online service is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
We may update this policy. The version and "last updated" date at the top show when it last changed. When you buy from us, the version in force at that time is recorded with your order (see Terms & Conditions §12).
